Many playground suppliers rely on imported components that are assembled locally. Playtec takes a different approach. We manufacture our playground equipment from the ground up.

Steel Fabrication

The structural framework of every playground is fabricated in our own facility using quality Australian steel.

These structures are designed to handle the demands of commercial use, where equipment is used continuously throughout the day. Frames are cut, welded and finished to precise specifications, ensuring strength, stability and long-term performance.

For venues, this means a playground that holds up under constant use without ongoing structural issues.

Timber Components

Timber elements are used where required to add warmth and visual appeal.

All timber components are selected, machined and treated in-house. This ensures consistency in finish and performance, particularly in environments where moisture, cleaning and general wear need to be considered.

Upholstery & Soft Surfaces

Soft contained play relies heavily on the quality of its materials.

Our in-house upholstery team produces all padded elements using high-density foam and commercial-grade PVC covers. These materials are selected for durability, cleanability and compliance with Australian fire safety standards.

Because this process is managed internally, we can customise colours and finishes to suit your venue without compromise.

Finishing & Quality Control

Before any component leaves our facility, it undergoes a detailed quality inspection.

We check dimensions, structural integrity, surface finishes and material compliance. If something does not meet our standards, it is remade before it reaches the site.

For operators, this removes the risk of on-site adjustments or delays caused by inconsistent manufacturing.
