Classic soft play areas incorporate very little climbing frame structure with the emphasis on clear sight lines within a padded, soft environment. Designed primarily for infants and young toddlers, Playtec classic soft play can incorporate many elements from brightly decorated soft foam shapes, wall and floor padding, ball pools, tubes, climbs, slides and theming.

Playtec soft play is a commercial grade product, made from quality foam, where necessary with a rigid timber frame for additional strength, and covered in easily cleaned PVC fabric that is water and fire resistant.

Classic soft play is most commonly used in one of two ways;

As a safe play area designed to entertain infants and toddlers for a short period of time for example, as found in indoor play centres or crèches in businesses such as fitness centres, clubs etc. In many instances Playtec theming plays a vital role in bringing the soft play shapes to life by engaging the children’s sensory emotions and feelings.
Classic soft play is often used as a combination of pieces designed to develop children’s balance skills, confidence and gross motor skills as found in gyms catering to children or special schools using the equipment for a therapeutic outcome.
